Certifications

Life Shield® technologies are for use in high threat, high risk and exposure environments. They are installed in buildings and facilities that face situations far exceeding high explosive and vapor cloud explosion blast load limits established by the United States General Services Administration (GSA), International Standards Organization (ISO), and previously by the United States Interagency Security Council (ISC) for windows and structures. Testing has conclusively shown that Life Shield® products, properly engineered and installed, meet or exceed GSA TS01 - 2003 performance condition 3A and 3B and ISO 16933:2007 performance level B.

Life Shield Engineered Systems, LLC has validated the capacity for blast mitigation of the Life Shield materials. The products require an engineered design to function against an unique threat against a unique structure. The engineers are responsible for the form, fit and function of the technologies to meet the clients requirements. Our materials have been tested and validated in almost 150 blast test and ballistic fragmentation testing by various United States government agencies, foreign governments, engineering firms, universities, and private companies.
